Hot ice proposition

I expect that all the hot ice will turn the water into ice. Then the ice will melt and turn into water again.

Step 1: Put clean water in the beaker, light the bunsen burner to heat up and saturate the crystals in the water.

Step 2: We did not freeze it long enough.

Saturate means it cannot disolve any more.

Oucome. I expected the hot ice to work on the first time, but we didn't freeze it long enough. There are lots of crystals at the bottom but not at the top.
