Important Note:   Using hypervelocity ammunition with this Suppressor/Muzzle Brake might actually result in a louder immediate/close range result due to the excess noise/sonic crack being vented sideways or towards the shooter - rather than forward and away with suppressor alone. However, this will actually result in a quieter result down range - where your prey is. It should also result in a steadier shot with less recoil.

New Design - now all my suppressors are suitable for magnum and HMR rifles - as they have double lined suppression chambers for added strength - also allowing me to insert more chambers than before!

Latest Feedback (On a Ultimate): Mate, you are a bloody legend. Got the suppressor today in the mail, screwed it on and fired a subsonic round through it. The impact was louder than the shot!! I've had a few silencers in the past (I work at a Gun shop) and to tell the truth, I wasn't expecting all that much because (centre-fire) suppressors work a lot on volume, and this wasn't the biggest suppressor I had ever seen. I couldn't believe the lack of  noise, the only suppressor I've heard that betters this is a complete over-barrel suppressor with porting to slow the projectile down to subsonic. I would have happily paid double for what I received, you exceeded my expectations tenfold.

Ultimate Custom MAGNUM Suppressor - Removable Internal Baffle

You've gotta love this beauty!

Two tone black and alloy. Around 40 internal baffle ports

Magnum .22 & .17hmr

Magnum .22 rifles shoot at around twice the velocity and ballistic impact as a normal .22. That's around 5,000 p.s.i. and 3,000 f.p.s. - an enormous amount of pressure.

The .17hmr uses the same cartridge as the .22 Magnum, but with a smaller .17 projectile.

To overcome the extra forces of this caliber, I've designed and made the Ultimate Magnum Suppressor - as below.

I've designed the above Ultimate Magnum Suppressor with double blast chambers, thicker spacers and removable end cap - held in place with 4 6mmx1mm grub screws

Dimensions: Approximately 35mm diameter x 225mm long

(Note:- I do NOT use springs as spacers in my suppressors - preferring instead to design and make to a tolerance of 1/100th of a millimeter.)

I have shaped the suppression spacer with a tapered cone that actually reverses back on itself, forcing the gasses and noise to flow backwards down the over-barrel suppressor and into the sound deadener.

It actually took me a whole evening's work just to craft this small piece (40mm diameter by around 80mm long), and although one piece, it is actually made up of several that are press-fitted together.  Funny thing, is that I don't usually start making something like this with drawings or a printed plan. I have an idea in my mind of what I want, and I just start making it. Often I have to adapt and change as it develops, as the metal directs and determines what shape and style can be made.

When I am making items like this, I seem to zone out and my tools become an extension of my hands and mind.

Might sound strange to you. It's been said the line between brilliance and insanity is very thin :-)

If I do have drawings and plans, I always make them after the item. For me, making things like this really is art-work and an expression of creativity. I just enjoy it.

Beautiful!

Here's some more feed-back I received today:

Hi Roger- received your Ultimate Custom Suppressor today. With hypervelocity bullets it is much quieter than the previous MAE can I had on it. Using the sound meter function - firing over top of it at 4-5 meters gave 65 dba. From memory the open muzzle reading was 88 dba so I think you have more than met expectation and it still fits in the case mounted on the gun. Thanks.

Here are two silencers - fitted to the Volquartsen .22 and .17hmr

.17hmr

Here's what Chris had to say about the custom suppressors and universal adapter I made for him:

Thanks, Roger for two Awesome moderators. I am extremely happy with the result.

The one on my Volquartsen Superlite is such a prefect fit that you would think it is a factory item.

The one for Sako Quad in .17 HMR is just as nice.

The loudest part is the cycling of the action on the Volquartsen when shooting.

The Balance of the Rifle is almost unaffected, since it is a very light piece of Kit.

AAA+++

Keep it up.

Cheers Chris

Baking and Hardening the Silicon Coating

After making my suppressors from high grade alloy, I coat them with a Silicon Enamel - matt black - if requested by my customers.

They are then bake hardened for 1 hour at 250 degrees Celsius.

My rifles are more than just sports equipment. They are works of art - deserving of equally high quality accessories and silencers. My goal is to make suppressors that enhance the value and enjoyment of both your rifle - and your shooting experience.

Combining over 35 years hunting and trapping experience - with 18 years as a professional toolmaker / mechanical engineer - enables me to design and produce top-quality and custom rim-fire/CO2 suppressors and silencers for shooters who demand quality and distinction.

Cutting out the middle man, I only sell what I produce - resulting in the best value for money on the market today.
